WACM (Woodstock Area Community Ministries) is hosting its annual chicken dinner fundraiser on Monday, October 24th, 2022, at the famous Crandall’s Restaurant in Hebron, IL. This fundraising event is to raise money for WACM’s Direct Assistance Program (DAP). We humbly ask if you could donate an item, experience, or certificate for our basket raffle. Your contribution will enhance the success of our fundraiser and will make a huge impact in the lives of those in financial crisis in our community.

WACM’s Direct Assistance Program (DAP), in its 22nd year, provides assistance to families and individuals who are experiencing an emergency financial crisis. Assistance includes vouchers for gasoline, clothing at resale shops, shoes/boots at a local retail store, and prescription drugs. DAP also aids with car repairs, and rent and utility bills for gas, electric or water to avoid utility shut-off.

WACM is a 501c(3) organization (see attached), and all families and individuals who come to WACM for assistance are treated with dignity and worth. The WACM Board of Directors places a high priority on managing WACM’s financial resources in an effective and accountable manner.
