(WAEF) ongoing work to empower students and educators and remove barriers to learning in Warren Township, by taking part in the 2024 Black & Gold Gala.

For more than 25 years, WAEF has served Warren Township students, teachers, and community members, by empowering students and educators with recognition and opportunities related to fine arts, academic enrichment and experiences, and college and career readiness, as well as removing barriers to learning in support of the whole child. The financial support we received from our community in 2023 helped us:
- Provide 11,500 Warren students with resources and educational experiences such as food access, transportation to and from internships to explore career opportunities, peer mentoring programs, and MORE!
- Fund over $100,000 in classroom grants
- Make over a $700,000 impact in Warren Township schools and in the community

We are able to mobilize our community to bridge the school funding gap and create exceptional learning experiences and equitable opportunities for ALL Warren students because of the support from community partners like you.

The annual Black & Gold Gala is WAEF’s largest fundraising event of the year. The Gala will take place on April 12, 2024 at the Indianapolis Marriott East. We expect over 400 guests and together are working to raise over $100,000 again this year.

During the event, we will celebrate the impact in Warren Township. This networking and celebration event includes a cocktail reception, dinner, silent and live auction, program, and an after party with late night dancing. With over 400 guests, you’ll have the opportunity to network with companies in Indianapolis and surrounding areas, as well as school administrators and staff.
