"Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History" - Cystic Fibrosis Canada-Ottawa Chapter

On Sunday, May 26, 2024, thousands of Canadians will be "making their steps count" by participating in the 20th. annual "Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History".

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults.  At present, there is no cure and half of the Canadians who died with CF in the past five years, were under the age of 37.

The Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History, is our largest fundraising event and takes place in local communities across Canada. We raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, through donors of our Walk participants and with a Silent Auction at the event.

This event brings together passionate and dedicated family members, friends and supporters of those with cystic fibrosis (CF), who walk in memory of those we’ve lost and in honour of those we continue to support.
