Dreams on Horseback is once again planning Walk, Trot, & Decanter, our annual gala that serves as our organization’s major fundraiser for the year. On April 25, 2020, three hundred guests will come together to attend this philanthropic evening at the Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio.

As part of the evening’s festivities, both a silent and live auction will be conducted. We are asking that you consider donating an item or service to these auctions. As a donor, you will be recognized that evening for your participation through signage, announcements, and program listings. It will also be recognized through Dreams on Horseback’s online auction system. We so appreciate our sponsors and make every effort to share your support with the public!

Demand for our therapeutic horse programs continues to grow. We offer 64 therapeutic lessons for children and adults with special needs each week. Many of these riders participate in our Special Olympics equestrian team. We also partner our horses with veterans and military in programs designed to foster relaxation and self-care. Some veteran programs pair parents and children to help heal relationships that may be strained due to military service. In addition we work with at-risk public school students to develop pre-employment skills within the context of caring for our horses and facility.

Your donation will also help us meet the growing demand for services our center faces. With a seventy-child waitlist, we are committed to grow our services so that more children can move from waitlist to arena.

Dreams on Horseback is a 501c3 non-profit organization serving Central Ohio. Last year Dreams conducted over 19,000 program hours and was assisted by over 100 trained volunteers. As a 501c3 non-profit, your donation of goods or services is tax-deductible.
