Dreams on Horseback, Central Ohio’s leading therapeutic equine center, is once again planning Walk, Trot, & Decanter, our annual gala event that serves as our organization’s major fundraiser for the year. The gala will take place on April 15, 2023 at Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio where three hundred guests will come and lend their support.  Last year’s gala raised over $175,000.

As part of the evening’s festivities, both a silent and live auction will be conducted. We are asking that you consider donating an item, gift card or experience that will help us raise funds for the more than 18,000 hours of programming that we bring to children and adults with disabilities, veterans, military and their families, and at- risk teens through our horse partnered programs.   

As a donor to the auctions, you will be recognized that evening through:

You will also be recognized through our donation software platform that will be viewed by 5000 constituents. We so appreciate our sponsors and make every effort to share your support with the public! 

Ultimately your support will help Dreams on Horseback, a therapeutic horse center, meet the growing demand for participation in our therapeutic riding lesson program which supports over 72 children each week, Alzheimer’s sensory stimulation program, vocational training programs for teens and young adults with special needs, and programs designed specifically for the support of military, veterans and their families. 

Dreams on Horseback is a 501c3 non-profit organization serving Central Ohio and is the only facility providing certified therapeutic riding lessons in Franklin County.  As such your donation is tax-deductible.  

With the help of people like you, Dreams on Horseback changes the lives of children and adults, both young and old, with cognitive, emotional and physical challenges every day through their interactions with our certified and dedicated staff and 100 weekly volunteers and therapy horses.
