Walk/Run for Charcot-Marie-Tooth AssociationSep 09, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) is a neurological disease affecting more than three million people. CMT is usually inherited from one's parents, but it can occur due to a mutation. Usually slowly progressive, causing loss of function and mobility in the arms, hands, legs and feet. Not usually fatal, it can be severely disabling in some people.
We are excited that we will be having out 5th annual WALK4CMT on Saturday, September 9 at Willow Bay, Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpool. We will have breakfast supplied by our friends from Wegmans. We will have a Gift Basket raffle! Music! Playground! All those walkers who donate $100 will also receive a Walk4CMT commemorative T-shirt!
All the donations received will go to the CMTA and the Strategy to Accelerate Research (STAR) program, as we continue to find ways to to obtain a cure for CMT!
