ALIVE Rescue’s mission is to save abused, homeless and unwanted animals. We
provide rehabilitation, food, housing and veterinary care for all of the dogs, cats and
rabbits that we rescue. Our primary intake source is high-kill shelters. ALIVE Rescue
receives no state funds for these services and relies solely on contributions and
fundraising events to continue this vital work.
Your sponsorship will help provide adoption services to animals (dogs, cats, and
rabbits) in need of loving homes and help cover the costs associated with caring
for them until they are adopted. Your donation will also help us sustain our new
shelter, The Big Barn. In October 2023, we expanded our operations into Southern
Wisconsin with the addition of this new facility. The Big Barn is 4,800 square feet
and sits on 70 acres and will allow us to double our rescue efforts.
Our 2nd Annual Walks & Wags is a fun event held during the entire month of June.
Participants commit to walking a minimum of one mile per day with their pet
companion(s) while raising funds for ALIVE Rescue. Each participant collects
pledges from friends and family for ALIVE Rescue through an online platform. At the
end of the month, a group walk will take place at Big Barn to announce winners and
give out prizes.
