​Mitchell Thorp Foundation is proud to host our 14th Annual “Warrior Spirit 5K Run/Walk” on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Carlsbad’s Poinsettia Park. Mitchell Thorp Foundation supports families whose children suffer from life-threatening illnesses, diseases, and disorders. “Bring out your Warrior Spirit to Support a Warrior Child!” Registrants will receive a T-shirt, raffle tickets, and finishers medal just for signing up! We'll have music, bounce houses, ponies, family activities, vendor booths, prizes, food, and chances to participate in a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Check-in at 8:30am, opening ceremony at 9:00am, and race begins at 9:30am. Anyone can create a fundraising-team with family/ friends/ school/ club or business to raise funds for the families and their children supported by Mitchell Thorp Foundation. Some of the families will be present at the event and will share their journey with everyone at the opening ceremony. We would love any gifts of donations to give back to families in need of your care and support!
