Holy Name of Mary School (in St. Marys) is hosting our fourth Annual Warrior Will Fun Fair on Thursday June 16th, 2022 from 5pm - 8pm.
Will Simons was our school warrior, born with a congenital heart defect and endured a number of major surgeries in his short 5 years of life. He was a real force for love, strength & goodness, a resilient fighter, a warrior right until the very end. We will continue to honour his memory at our annual Fun Fair.
Prior to the Pandemic, our Warrior Will Fun Fair raised almost $15 000. A portion of the money raised was donated to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, Ronald McDonald House and the remaining money was used to build a sun shelter in our outdoor learning area for all students to enjoy!
It is our hope with the money raised through the Fun Fair this year to be able to provide students with experiential learning opportunities. This type of learning would expose students to new sports, coding and technological experiences, music, artistic opportunities, and more! Additionally, donations will continue to be made in Will’s name to Sick Kids and Ronald McDonald House.
To realize this goal, we need your help to make the event a success. We are kindly requesting donations that can be used for our online silent auction. Donations of gift certificates, products, or services are greatly appreciated. Our online silent auction will be running from Monday June 6th, 2022 until Wednesday June 15th, 2022.  Your generosity is very much appreciated.
