The Waterman's Feast is CecilCAN's big event of the year. CecilCAN is a nonprofit in Cecil County, Maryland, and our mission is to preserve our beautiful County through responsible development, education, and environmental conservation. We chose to put on a Waterman's Feast because it gives a nod to our County's deep rooted history with the Chesapeake Bay and the watermen that fished it. We will be showcasing lour local traditions, local seafood fished by local watermen, and locally sourced produce. Guests will enjoy "All you can eat eat" crabs, corn, and hush puppies, a 1/2 lb of locally sourced fish, and a 1/2 dozen Chesapeake Bay oysters. We will be having live music by a local band called Bleech and we will be having raffles and a silent auction going on throughout the evening.
