Description

The Waugh PTO is a non-profit parent teacher organization that supports the Waugh School District to fund Music, Art, Library and Technology programs and Teacher Classroom Funds for Corona Creek Elementary and Meadow Elementary schools. Our organization has funded these programs at almost 100% with the help of businesses like yours. With your help, we hope to continue to provide the necessary funding for the students and teachers in the Waugh School District.

Federal and State funding for Music, Art, Library and Technology programs has decreased to nearly zero. 20 years ago, the tenacious parents, teachers, and community members of our district worked together to provide funding to keep these programs intact bridging the gap between state funding and district needs for these four pivotal programs. Teachers also continue to struggle with funding, often dipping into their own pocket to support their students with necessary supplies in the classroom. The Waugh PTO hopes to provide 100% of our teacher’s classroom funds to supply their students with the necessary supplies for learning.

 

This year, the Waugh PTO is planning its 2024 Black & White Gala Fundraiser to be held Saturday, March 9th from 5:30-10:00PM at The Petaluma Community Center in Petaluma, California. This will be a lively evening including an all-you-can-eat-dinner, dancing, live and silent auction, photo booth and DJ! Your donation will help ensure we meet our annual goal of $200,000 to continue providing Music, Art, Library and Technology programs and Teacher Classroom Funds for the Waugh School District.

 

We are asking if you would be generous enough to donate a gift certificate, product or service from your business to be part of our live or silent auction.

Your tax-deductible contribution will be prominently displayed at the event which draws nearly 200 guests from our district and community. As always, all guests in attendance are encouraged to patronize our generous benefactors. Your gift will help us achieve our goal.
