I am writing on behalf of the Wayne Central Education Foundation looking for your support.

Through the donations we received this past year we were able to award over $3,500 in grants to teachers and in June will be awarding eight scholarships to graduating Seniors.

The Wayne Central Education Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that is separate from the Wayne Central School District. The Foundation was created to provide funding within the district through grants. The proposals by members of the faculty, staff and students will be decided on the merits of the proposals.

We are seeking a donation for items for raffles to held during two upcoming events. We will be hosting two food truck rodeos. One on June 24th and the other August 12th. The money raised through the events and raffles enable us to continue to provide for immediate enrichment opportunities to ensure long-term viability of the Foundation.

The government is increasingly making financial cuts to the educational programs within the schools. We, as the Foundation and with anticipated support, can help fund those programs for years to come.
