The Welcome Home Lucheon is the only annual fundraiser for Foundation Communities, a local Austin, homegrown nonprofit organization creating affordable housing for our community. Guests are invited to take a tour of the family community where the lunch is held to see what beautiful, affordable housing can look like, learn about our wrap-around/onsite services offered to residents, see the Learning Center for kids and where education programs happen, and sit for a lunch and 1-hour program. The program highlights resident stories of strength, how they came to live at a Foundation Communities Property and how they give back to the organization as well. Our Executive Director will speak on the organization's growth and the need for more housing. There is also an ask from our Board Chair to those attending in-person and online to become partners of the organization through giving.
