Description

The Office of People & Culture at Brock University is excited to be planning their annual Employee Wellness Day to take place on Monday, June 23, 2025. This year marks the 23rd anniversary of Wellness Day. Wellness Day 2024 brought together approximately 650 employees who engaged in wellness related workshops geared toward achieving wellness in one or more of the following eight area: Physical, Emotional, Social, Spiritual, Intellectual, Environmental, Occupational and Financial. Approximately 80 different workshops and opportunities were offered. An important aspect of Wellness Day is building a sense of community among employees and with this in mind, each year a raffle sale is arranged. All proceeds from this sale are donated to a non-endowed scholarship award, given to a student who has demonstrated a commitment to wellness within their community. In 2023, as a result of the raffle sale, a donation of $5800 and was awarded to Brock students. We would like to request your support for this wellness initiative through the donation of a gift, gift basket or gift certificate. Your generosity would add both excitement to the day and build a sense of community as Brock employees participate in the raffle sale for the benefit of our students.

Arrangements of a donation can be directed to the attention of Martina Ciglenecki in the Office of People & Culture at mciglenecki@brocku.ca or 289.968.2438. Thank you in advance for considering this request. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
