Wellness & Emotional Support (WES) for Youth Online provides free, professional e-counselling to youth ages 13-24 in Ontario. Our organization provides a safe and inclusive space for youth to receive ongoing support and develop coping skills for all they are facing.

We understand that mental health is complicated, and the concerns of youth need time and trust to work through. WES for Youth Online provides ongoing e-counselling, which is critical to allow youth the opportunity to develop a trusting relationship with their counsellor. To provide youth with the support they want without barriers or limitations, our service has no time constraints or counselling session limits. Our youth can connect with one of our qualified counsellors through the asynchronous email-to-email option, the live chat function, and through telephone or video call appointments, all within the safety of our secure platform. Our youth are able to access WES for Youth Online's service and app anywhere they feel comfortable and have the option to express themselves through creative means using our media submission centre.

In June of 2022, WES for Youth Online celebrated 10 years of operation, a milestone event that looked back on how much help and support the organization has been able to provide for young people across the province, thanks to our incredible donors. In honour of this milestone, the organization is launching a redeveloped e-counselling service and brand new hybrid mobile app that not only makes counselling services more accessible to youth, but also provides opportunities for youth to connect with WES for Youth Online's counsellors in new ways. This redeveloped platform, along with our vision for the next decade, is all about focusing forward: meeting youth where they are and ensuring they can receive the support they want, when they want it, and how they want it–to better their mental health, together. 

WES for Youth Online is thrilled to host an in-person event. Our 10th Anniversary Golf Classic & Donor Recognition Dinner will take place on Friday June 2, 2023. We will begin at the Walkerton Golf & Curling Club, followed by dinner at the Best Western Plus Walkerton. We are excited to celebrate the year-over-year support from our corporate and community partners that has helped us to reach thousands of youth across the province. Funds raised from the tournament will directly provide our free e-counselling service to youth in Ontario.

We are in need of in-kind donations to support our event. To add an extra element of fun to the day we will have on-course games such as Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and a Putting Contest with prizes for the winners. We will also have a raffle held at the dinner reception. We would be honoured to recognize your generous in-kind donation on WES for Youth Online's social media platforms.
