The West Haldimand Hospital and Healthcare Foundation will be hosting our premire golf tournament on September 12, 2022. Last year we were pleased to host a sell out tournament.

Proceeds from this event will help us to raise funds for needed priority medical equipment for the hospital.

Hospitals in Ontario are facing many challenges these days- keeping current on vital patient care and equipment. We provide basic hospital and healthcare services, including a 24 hour emergency department, day surgery and acute care to a population of over 25 thousand and growing. Many Ontarians believe that because we have a publicly funded healthcare system hospitals are fully supported by the government. This is not the case. The Province of Ontario funds onl;y operating costs, and those funds are non-transferrable to capital purchases. A hospitals capital equipment expenditures must be funded almost exclusively by it's community.

The catchment area includes Hagersville, Jarvis, Caledonia, Selkirk, Nanticoke, The Six Nations of the Grand River Reserve and the Mississauga's of the New Credit First Nations.
