Ethos, a not-for-profit organization (Tax ID#: 23-7304163), based in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, and our mission is to promote the independence, dignity, and well-being of the elderly and disabled. Founded in 1973, Ethos achieves its mission through the coordination and delivery of high-quality, affordable home and community-based care.

10 years ago, Ethos started the AgeWell program with a simple premise: keep seniors active, healthy and living independently in their community. This program has been able to achieve amazing results through the hard work and dedication of a small but effective collective of staff and volunteers, and is funded primarily through individual donations and fundraising events. Over the past three years alone, our AgeWell program has conducted more than 300 individual programs, events and health promotion classes with more than 8300 participants.

In today’s economic climate, it is a challenge to provide quality services with dwindling resources. Ethos can’t support the AgeWell West Roxbury program alone. That’s why we need your help.

Each year, Ethos holds an annual event called West Roxbury Rocks, which celebrates all of the great work we do in the community and, raises much needed funds for the AgeWell program.

This year’s West Roxbury Rocks event will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Moseley's on the Charles and will feature drinks, food, comedy music and more.
