Description

The Westchester B.L.U.E. Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer peer-support group dedicated to providing

a confidential and supportive environment for police officers and their families to cope effectively with stresses

experienced during a career in law enforcement. The Foundation will reduce existing gaps in the access and availability

of necessary support services.

The Westchester B.L.U.E. Foundation was established in 2011 by several active and retired members of the Law

Enforcement community, as well as a number of civilian professionals who are likewise dedicated to the mental,

physical and emotional well-being of our local police officers. The foundation was established for the charitable

purpose of aiding active and retired police officers and their families in crisis, dealing with a tragedy, illness, death,

substance abuse, suicide, or are in financial need by referring them to counseling, psychiatric, medical and social

providers or facilities that will address their specific needs.

It is our mission to be the assistance for police officers that they so desperately need while dealing with any of the

aforementioned situations. Too many times police officers feel that, even with a strong chain of support consisting of

family and friends, they still have no one that will truly understand the emotional and physical drain they feel from

dealing with the day-to-day issues that a police officer experiences, and continues to experience even after

retirement. We want to fill that missing link in their support chain and be the “First Responders for our First

Responders”.

We are inviting you to support the Westchester B.L.U.E. Foundation when we host our 10th Annual Charity Dinner on

Friday, November 1st, 2024. We are looking for you to support our organization by taking out an ad in our journal,

buying a ticket for our cash raffle, donating an item for our gift raffle, or any other donation you wish to make. Your

support will make a difference to police officers in need, and their families. Our supporters will know that you have

been a huge help to our mission and have been instrumental in continuing to make the foundation a great success.

I thank you in advance for your support. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at (914) 512-

1367 or via email at victoria@westchesterblue.org. The Westchester B.L.U.E. Foundation is a recognized 501(c)3

charitable organization (Tax ID #45-2034907), so donations are tax deductible.
