Children’s Organization of Lending Equipment (COLE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children with disabilities access to necessary adaptive equipment. Our mission is to connect children who have outgrown their equipment with those in need, ensuring that families do not face financial barriers while waiting for coverage or approval from insurance companies. COLE offers a vital service by allowing families to borrow this specialized equipment at no cost, ensuring that children can continue to learn, grow, and play.

   As a volunteer-driven organization, COLE operates without paid staff, and all of our equipment is generously donated. To sustain our operations, we hold our annual Wheels for Freedom event each July, which raises essential funds for our cause. Without the support of this event and the generosity of donors, we would be unable to continue our work and fulfill our mission. 

 Our event features a motorcycle run, with participation numbers reaching over 70 riders at its peak. In addition to the run, we host a raffle and silent auction, with all basket items generously donated by local businesses. Each year, we also offer custom-designed T-shirts for purchase, available to both bikers and attendees, further supporting our fundraising efforts.

   All proceeds from these activities go directly to supporting our cause. To add a special touch, our sponsors and donors are publicly recognized by a special celebrity guest, highlighting their vital contributions to the event’s success.
