Whistlestop is FiftyForward Madison Station’s primary fundraiser, benefitting our diverse community of over 600 members.

In 2024, the Orient Express will take us to Paris, France! Known as the City of Love, Paris is a center for fashion, culture, delicious foods, and exceptional wines.

In addition to the reception, dinner and entertainment, we will recognize our Member of the Year, Conductor of the Year, and Community Service Award.

Support of Whistlestop helps us strengthen our programs that serve our community. We connect with older adults, increasing their engagement and quality of life through:
• Access to wellness programs, including yoga and chair arthritis classes
• Scholarships for members below the federal poverty line
• Engaging in volunteer opportunities in the community
• Partnering with the local police department to serve the senior homeless
population
• Teaching lifelong learning skills such as computer literacy
• Care assessment
• Working with the Metro Meals Senior Lunch Program to counter food insecurity by
providing high quality, nutrient-dense meals to those 60 and older—at no cost to
the recipient
