Our Summer Enrichment Program is the highlight of the summer for children that normally stay home in crowded apartments without parent supervision. For many years, Bea's Kids has provided a free summer camp to inner city kids living in economically disadvantaged households. We pride ourselves in offering these children the best experiences in the summer and create a space for kids to step out of the role of caretaker and allow them to be kids.

We serve children from 6 years of age and up. During the summer we provide free lunch meals, multiple field trips to places like Six Flags, Hawaiian Fallls, Perot Museum, Dallas Arboretum, Librairies and so much more. We also invite City Leaders to come and speak to our children and create educational projects for them. We teach on Emotioanl Intelligence and Character Building while creating fun Arts and Craft activities that will allow them to express themselves, especially after the pandemic affected many of our children. We end the summer by provinding every camper with back packs and new shoes to go back to school feeling confident and ready to learn. The gifts will be presented at our White House Luncheon on August 4th.

The White House Luncheon is an annual event, where kids know how to carry themselves around adults if they are ever invited to The White House someday. Our City Council is invited to attend along with local buisnesses, city leaders and community partners.

In order to continue to provide these costly services to our children as well as grow our event, we are seeking donations for food, tickets for field trips, materials for arts and crafts, or monetary donations to purchase "cool" shoes for every camper to be given out at The Whit3e House Luncheon. All the donations go directly towards the children and not to operating costs. We are all about the kids. We want to give them another summer full of fun experiences and help them break the cycle of poverty by exposing them to our beautiful communities and city leaders.
