The Whiting-Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce Installation Dinner is an annual fundraising gala, where the Chamber installs it's newly appointed Board of Directors and Officers. Teh event also honors business members celebrating a milestone year with the Longevity Awards ceremony, Awards the Teacher of the Year, Public Servant of the Year, and the Binnhammer Award recipient. The Binnhammer Awards is granted to a community member who has a lifetime of volunteerism and community support that goes above and beyond. The gala also celebrates those community leaders, businesses, and volunteers who make the Whiting/Robertsdale Community of northwest indiana one of the best places to live, work, shop, eat, and play. At this event the chamber also hosts a thrilling live auction, where the 250 guest battle for the winning bid on get-away packages, staycation prizes, and more.

2024 will be the Chamber's 101st Annual Installation Gala, held on February 9, 2024. With guests who are leaders in industry, small business champions, and policial leaders from Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area, donations and sponsorships towards this event have a lasting reach beyond the auction and event night. We thank our donors and sponsors during the event, in the event program distribted to all that attend (doubles as thier auction paddle), on social media, post event e-blasts, and in the March issue of our WRite Stuff Newspaper (delivered to over 8,000 homes and businesses in the Whiting and North Hammond, IN).
