Description

The Village Centers is proud to present the first-ever Village Wild West Poker Tournament, to be held on Saturday, April 29th at The Clubs of Kingwood. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament and other casino games will begin at 7:00 pm.

This year’s event is co-chaired by Lawrence and Cher Pope, longtime Kingwood residents and champions of The Village Centers and supported by Dave and Gwendolyn Crawford.

All proceeds will benefit the mission of The Village Centers to affect positive changes in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and our local community, so that these individuals can reach their maximum potential and level of independence.

Whether you are a seasoned poker player or a non-poker player interested in a fun evening out with friends, there will be something for everyone. We are offering a variety of sponsorship packages and three different individual entry options – Standard Poker, High-Roller Poker, or Non-Poker – along with heavy hors d’oeuvres; cash bar; live entertainment; blackjack, roulette, and craps tables; a raffle with great prizes; a liquor pull, and more!

We hope you will join us for this special opportunity to enjoy friendly competition while also making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.
