Description

Plans are underway for Willow Elementary School’s largest fundraising event of the year. We are
holding our Annual Spring Gala on March 23rd.  This event will incude both a live and silent
auction at this year’s gala, and we hope to raise funds to support our great elementary school and students
in the 2024-2025 school year.

We are looking for in-kind donations we can feature during our Annual Spring
Gala where we will have both a live and silent auction. A donation from you would be such a great
addition to our auction.

In previous years, we have had a lot of community involvement and local business donations have
generously supported the Willow Elementary Spring Gala. We hope we can count on your support this
year. If you have the means to donate a gift certificate or if you’d like to help sponsor our school’s
event, either would be appreciated and would help us to reach our fundraising goals for the school
year.

The Willow Parent Faculty Association plays a vital role in bridging the gap between state budget cuts
and public school funding. Willow Elementary depends on this annual fundraiser to provide our
students with computers and technology, reading/ literacy specialists, teacher subscriptions to
educational materials, a Garden Specialist, science content and materials, P.E. Specialists, Librarians &
library expenses, Teaching Aides , School Safety expenses, Campus Supervisors and classroom materials,
all of which are an integral part of each child’s education. Last year, a portion of the PFA funds
contributed to our new Maker Space, a room solely focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art &
Math curriculum. This year, the Willow Elementary PFA must raise a total of $353,000 to help pay for
the items listed above to help further enrich our student’s lives while at our local public school.
The success of our annual fundraising event, including our silent and live auction is essential to ensuring
our children receive a high quality education enabling them to thrive at Willow Elementary.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.  We hope we can count on your support this year!
