Home Sweet Home Young Friends Council is hosting a Wine & Beer Tasting at Grapevine Wines in Kirkwood on November 3rd.  This event will help support Home Sweet Home’s mission: to give under-served families a sense of pride and to improve the quality of their lives by providing basic household furnishings. 

Home Sweet Home is a nonprofit organization that partners with more than 60 local agencies to provide gently-used furniture and household items to their clients who are often escaping homelessness, domestic abuse survivors, single parents with children, immigrants, refugees and veterans. 

As the only furniture bank in St. Louis, Home Sweet Home serves families transitioning out of homelessness who lack essential items like mattresses, tables, and chairs. To date, we have served more than 4,200 clients and provided over 288,000 household items to St. Louis families in need. 

I’d like to invite you to donate a/raffle item or be a food sponsor for this important fundraiser for Home Sweet Home and help us serve over 1,200 families in 2023. As a 501(c)3 organization, we receive no government funding. We rely on the generosity of individual donors, corporate donations, grants, and proceeds from fundraising events.  With your support, Home Sweet Home will be able to raise the resources necessary to continue serving families in need with the basic comforts and dignity everyone deserves.
