Description

Join us for our 2nd Annual Wine Women and Shoes fundraiser benefiting our residents and day program participants living with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments.

Last year, our first annual Wine, Women & Shoes sold out and the buzz around the community was how fun and unique this new event was. This two-part signature event series creates an enhanced atmosphere of giving where community-minded, philanthropic women (and a few good men) gather to sip, shop, savor, and support a worthy cause in an exciting, chic and innovative way.

The Marketplace, "Sip, Savor, Shop & Support," ignites the senses with an energetic atmosphere from the moment guests step into the rose garden. From wine tasting and culinary delights, to shopping the designer pop-up boutiques, and mingling with charming Shoe Guys, this portion of the event is lively and engaging. With revenue generating activations sprinkled throughout, guests have fun while supporting a great cause.

The event then moves to the vintage barn for gourmet lunch and program with singer/songwriter/producer Shaun Cassidy as emcee. From the welcome to mission message, and the live auction to the fashion show, guests are engaged with wow moments throughout the seated program. There will be entertainment and most importantly, the program educates and engages guests in the cause.

This event raises money for scholarships and financial assistance for low-income seniors living with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments to attend our day care program and funds new and innovative activity programs for residents of Friendship House.
