69 elementary and middle school students have submitted their fictional story to Writer’s Ink’s Writing Contest. The goal of this contest is to cultivate local young children to be more interested in creative writing, and offer a competitive opportunity to our current 40+ students. An awards ceremony will be held on September 16, 2017 from 2-5pm. We estimate about 160 children and parents will show up for this event. This free event includes food and activities such as face painting, coloring, mask making, writing activities, and more. Donations will be used as raffle prizes. All participants will get 1 raffle ticket and additional tickets will be awarded to families that bring in food and/or school supplies which we donate to local low-income centers where we occasionally hold programs. We hope that every child walks away happy that they chose to spend their effort writing a fictional story, and they will chose to attend writing-related events in the future. 

Your company's logo will be displayed on our website under "benefactors" and we would be happy to display any brochures you would like near the raffle station.
