Shirley Hills Primary School is located on the western banks of Lake Minnetonka, comprised of approximately
415 students in grades K-4. Each year, the PTA hosts a Silent Auction in conjunction with the Winter Carnival,
which is the largest fundraising event of the year. This year’s event will take place in our Media Center on the
night of March 6th, 2020.

Each year our Silent Auction is widely attended by hundreds of community members. This successful event
would not be possible without the support of your generous donation. Please consider being a part of our Silent
Auction by making a donation, either of your service, a gift certificate or an item of merchandise to be sold at the
auction. Your donation(s) significantly benefit the children at Shirley Hills Primary School. By participating in
our Silent Auction you will benefit through the publicity you receive by promoting your business. The Shirley
Hills PTA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Fed ID# 41-1386081, which may make your donation eligible
for a tax deduction.

Proceeds raised at the Silent Auction will continue to pay for additional enrichment tools for our students. In
2019, Shirley Hills was able to break ground on an outdoor classroom. This classroom expanded the physical
learning space while helping to create an increased interest in nature and the sciences among our students. There
are many benefits to having our students learn outdoors and we are thrilled to be able to continue to enhance the
outdoor learning space. The outdoor classroom will continue to provide our students with the best environment
possible to expand their scientific knowledge through hands-on learning experiences.
