Birmingham Police Officer’s Nonprofit Foundation Hosts

its 2nd Annual Winter Coat Explosion!

Birmingham, AL -----Lane Harper’s Power of Life Foundation in collaboration with Fairfield High Preparatory School will host its 2nd Annual Winter Coat Giveaway.

Lane Harper is a Birmingham Police Officer who has been giving back in his local community for over 20 years.  His nonprofit, The Power of Life Foundation was created during the pandemic as a movement to save lives.

The Foundation’s initiative, Hearth and Soul, will provide items to help the community keep warm during the winter months. At this event, students and their families will receive new coats, hats, gloves, socks and many more items donated by local community partners.

Harper states, “Every year we see families struggle to decide how to keep their families warm and feed them. We just want to alleviate some of the daily stress by providing as much help as we can to families during the holidays.”
