Description

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Cassie Sears and I represent the Grove Junior High School PTO. Grove Junior High School serves grades 6th through 8th, with a student population of approximately 900 students in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. We serve a diverse student population and include several special programs for District 59. Our goal is to prepare students for success in life! In order to support this goal we provide all students with quality educational activities and materials to assist our school in preparing students for great achievements.

The Grove Junior High Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of enhancing our students' educational, social, and extracurricular experiences. We are a partnership of parents, teachers, and administrators dedicated to making a difference through volunteerism, community involvement, and fundraising efforts for our children. Every year our PTO supports meaningful causes in our school. In the past with our help of fundraising, we have been able to provide financial assistance for students to participate in school field trips who might not normally be able to attend. The PTO has provided books for the library and for teachers for their classroom. We contribute towards cultural events throughout the school year like our El Dia de los Muertos event. Annually the PTO donates money towards the fine arts for various events for students to garner a love for the arts through theater and music. These are just some of the ways we are actively involved in enhancing all students experiences at Grove.

It is difficult for the PTO to support this worthwhile school project without help from people like you. I am writing to invite your business to donate an item or gift certificate for our 3rd Annual Winter Raffle Fundraiser we will be holding in February of 2023. We welcome donations of any size and type. Our raffle will take place during Winter Conferences in February 2023. Students and families attend these conferences thus we expect our raffle to be a huge success.

As a business, the benefits of supporting Grove Junior High School PTO are: your business will be recognized on all promotional materials distributed to school families, community, community leaders, and raffle attendees; your donation will also be acknowledged on our social media-Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter; all contributions are tax deductible and you will be provided with our tax exemption number. Finally, you can take pride in being a good corporate citizen.

We truly appreciate your participation in the raffle. All donations can be mailed to:
