On February 22, 2025, Coldwater will host its annual Winterfest. The event raises awareness and
support for Coldwater’s mission and purposes. We have 300-350 guests each year. The event includes
an online silent auction, raffle, and Piccadilly auction.

Coldwater is a nonprofit that is passionate about building friendships and fostering hope in Lee’s
Summit and the surrounding communities. Coldwater serves community needs in the following
areas:
 Family Nutrition
 Child Nutrition
 Household Needs
 Outreach.
Coldwater distributed more than 200,000 pounds of food through its Food Pantry and Senior Mobile
Pantry in 2023 and more than 10,800 lunches through its Summer Lunches program this past summer.
Last school year Coldwater delivered more than 6,700 Harvesters BackSnacks (elementary weekend
food packs) and Coldwater preschool weekend food packs to students in Lee’s Summit. This school
year, as Harvesters phases out its program, Coldwater will prepare all the packs in-house, adding
more than 90 new kids and 4 new schools to the program
