WISH Community School and WISH Academy High School continues to grow and thrive in the Westchester area of Los Angeles, expanding to serve over 1,100 TK-12 students from all across Los Angeles County, with an innovative, rigorous curriculum that focuses on the whole-child approach to education, as well as meaningful and engaging learning experiences.  

WISH’s core-value is a commitment to excellence through both our Whole Scholar Approach to Education and a  focus on Social Justice through Inclusivity, which has had incredible outcomes for children and families. As a public, not-for-profit school operating on a modest budget, funded in large part by donations, our community partnerships have allowed us to implement so many of our unique approaches, providing every child with a high-quality, research-based, personalized education including STEM, visual & performing arts, college-credit classes, competitive sports, field trips, and so much more.  

WISH has been recognized for its exemplary educational practices. Our university partnership as a Professional Development School for Loyola Marymount University’s School of Education has provided countless opportunities and development for WISH pupils and staff. We have also become a global leader in education, welcoming visitors from over 14 nations across the globe, eager to learn more about, and implement our successful learning strategies at their institutions.

And it’s located right here, in our community! Most WISH pupils  live in and near the 90045 zip code and over 90% of families volunteer at events and in classrooms, helping to further optimize learning. We are also so fortunate to have developed strong relationships with our neighbors and our local community. WISH is committed to maintaining small class sizes and hands-on learning experiences for our students but we need your help! 

This year, we are planning our amazing WISH Spring Auction for March 9, 2024, which will continue online throughout the week, and culminate with a live auction at our Gala event. This allows us to reach out to a broader audience beyond our immediate school community, and provides an even greater ability to advertise the generous donations provided by our sponsors. In 2023, we were able to raise over $45,000 to help fund WISH programs, thanks to the support of families and the local community. This year we hope to raise even more.

Any donation that you can provide toward the WISH Spring Auction is greatly appreciated, including a gift  certificate, merchandise, service, or sponsorship. Participation not only helps to build WISH Charter, but it is also a  fantastic way to promote your business in the community, reaching more than 1,000 families within our school and to the many more that access the online auction. Donors will be listed in our auction program and the WISH website.  

WISH is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization; contributions are tax deductible. *Donations are kindly requested by March 1st to provide adequate time for listing in the auction catalog and on the website.
