Dear Community Leader,
On behalf of the students, parents, and faculty of St. Frances Cabrini School, we are writing to invite you to
support our Wish Upon A Star Auction! The auction is to be held on March 18, 2023, at McGavick
Convention Center in Lakewood WA. As you may know, St. Frances Cabrini School has been educating
students from Pre-K to 8th grade for over 69 years. We are proud of our academic and spiritual history and
continue working toward leaving an even greater legacy as our students grow to be leaders of today and
tomorrow.
Every spring, St. Frances Cabrini holds an annual auction that brings together over 300 guests who are
passionate about empowering students to reach their fullest potential. Last year’s auction raised over
$155,000. This money allowed us the ability to purchase much-needed textbooks, technology, and
equipment such as a renovation of a school kitchen for our students to provide a hot lunch program.
As a respected business partner and valued supporter of education, we rely on the support from generous
businesses like yours to help us make this the best gala in our school’s history. The auction will feature items
and experiences generously donated by our friends, neighbors, and local businesses like you.
May we count on your help? We invite you to consider donating an item, service, or gift certificate to our
auction. This year we would like to dedicate the funding to upgrading school-wide intercom system
equipment, an electric gate near the carpool area, and upgrading the middle school restrooms.
Your support for our school during these challenging times is more important than ever. Your donation will
be recognized in promotional materials circulated to parents, staff, alumni, and the community, prior to and
during the event, including acknowledgment in our auction virtual catalog, school publications, and social
