Description

The Woodlands Mothers of Multiples (WMOM) is a non-profit organization 501(c)(3), consisting of approximately 130 families in the North Houston, Spring and Montgomery County areas. We are dedicated to building a support network to aid the parents of multiple-birth children in meeting the unique challenges and joys of parenting twins, triplets, and more. WMOM provides members a focus on educational issues, special needs support, and community outreach. WMOM is a member of the Multiples of America (formerly NOMOTC) and Texas Mothers of Multiples (TMOM).

In order to maintain this level of support for our members, WMOM depends on donations of goods and service and financial sponsorships from businesses like yours.

We’re currently seeking donated items for our Annual Fundraiser and Silent Auction, which will take place March 25, 2022 at Texas Axe Throwing in Spring. We expect it to be a fun-filled evening of mingling, axe throwing, and fundraising — and we’d love your help to make it happen.

Parents of multiples face unique challenges, especially during the first year of life. According to the March of

Dimes, close to 60% of twins and 90% of triplets are born prematurely. This results in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) stays of days, weeks, or even months. WMOM provides several means of support to our members during this stressful time including financial donations, meal trains, and mentorship. We continue to support our members throughout all stages of parenting through monthly meetings, lectures, seasonal events, and group philanthropic opportunities.

If provided, your tax-deductible donation will help our club continue to support the community and our members in meeting the challenges that parenting twins, triplets, and higher-order multiples comes with. This is also an excellent way for your business to show its support in our community and receive positive advertising.

If you have any questions, you can contact WMOM President, Michelle Grote at wmom.president@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for any support that you can provide and I look forward to hearing from you.
