I invite you to be part of the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains signature fundraising event - the Women of Distinction luncheon. Women of Distinction highlights the advancements of purpose-driven women and celebrates leaders in the workplace who are role models and empower the girls we serve. This years Luncheon and Fundraiser wil take place on Friday, August 26 at the Hurst Conference Center at 11:30am. The Women of Distinction program brings together and recognizes a group of purpose-driven leaders in education, business, government, and philanthropy, who, like our girls, are dedicated to service and leadership. 

The 2022 event will recognize honorees in the following categories: Woman of Distinction Award, Rising Star Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Outstanding Community Partner, and Man Enough to Be a Girl Scout Award. Again, this year, investors in our mission will have the chance to bid on unique items and packages in our online silent auction. We are looking for local businesses like Six Flags over Texas to help us make Women of Distinction a success by investing in our work as a girl champion with a donation for the auction. Your involvement shows you're one of her biggest supporters, who will encourage her to dream big and will inspire her to reach her full potential while making the world a better place!
