Women of the Dream Will Hold Its 8th Annual Scholarship Event!

Women of the Dream, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has provided program services to girls and young women in Camden, NJ, since 2014. Our work is fueled by our belief in the transformative power of investing in girls, particularly those in underserved and low-income areas, who represent the promise of tomorrow.

It’s that time of year again, and we are as excited as ever! Women of the Dream’s 8th Annual Scholarship Event will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, on the campus of Camden High School in Camden, NJ. Join us as we celebrate the promising young women of Women of the Dream (WOD) in Camden, New Jersey. This special event will highlight the achievements of current and previous WOD scholarship recipients. WOD girls will assume leadership roles at the event, such as MC and songstress, and share personal statements about the impact of WOD on their lives. You will hear positive messages from Camden’s Mayor Victor Carstarphen and Katrina McCombs, Superintendent of Camden’s Schools, sponsors, school staff, and parents.

Over the past seven years, we have awarded scholarships totaling $233,520 to young women pursuing higher education.
