EVENT POSTPONED FROM MAY 16,2020 to APPROX FALL 2020

Our parent organization, PACE (Parents Association Colfax Elementary), strives to provide our children with an outstanding enriched education.  We do this by supplementing the basics provided by The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).

PACE is proud to provide classroom aides to our teachers, helping to reduce the ‘teacher : student’ ratio in the classroom.  PACE also provides trained teaching staff, their facilities and supplies, in the areas of Science, Art, Music and Computer Technology, to name a few.  At Colfax, we also have a school farm and garden, which our volunteers and teachers use to enhance our children’s appreciation of the world around us.

This wonderfully enriched education is expensive.  Our families donate personally throughout the year, and we hold a number of fundraisers that are necessary to continue to fund these programs.  By far our biggest Community Fundraiser is the renowned “Colfax World Fair”.  Once a year, we open up the gates to over 8000 guests from the surrounding neighborhoods of Los Angeles to enjoy live shows, student performances, game booths, water park fun and so much more.  The biggest attraction however, is our outstanding Silent Auction!

Our move to an online system where bidding can be done via a customer’s mobile phone from absolutely anywhere, has extended our customer-reach beyond our tent to the whole community, increasing our success by 40%!    We want you to enjoy that increased exposure too!
