The event is to draw awareness of food insecurity and how Rise Against Hunger is addressing these needs in developing countries. We are celebrating the UN World Food Day and we have a local Sacramento Chef participating in the National Chef Showdown hosted by Rise Against Hunger. The goal of the event is to raise awareness in our community and to help fund our sustainable development projects currently underway.
