Description

Young Adults with Special Abilities, also known as YASA, is a tax-exempt non-profit Day Program located in Jamaica, Queens and Astoria, Queens that has had the pleasure of supporting young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities for over 20 years. YASA’s mission is to help these ladies and gentlemen work towards becoming active goal-oriented members ofthe larger community.

This fiscal year, we’re aiming to raise at least $20,000 from sponsors, businesses and local community members to assist us in achieving our goals set for the Community Involvement Initiatives. We strive daily to explore and provide opportunities that will enhance every single person's quality of life by involving those we support in community experiences, volunteer opportunities and relationship development with local businesses.

For our Casino Night Fundraiser on November 8th, 2024 at Verdi’s of Westbury, We are seeking donations for our raffles/auctions, as well as sponsorships that will assist us in raising additional funds and drive us closer towards achieving our goal.

Regardless of the amount you choose to give, your company name will be included in our event program and you’ll be included in the press release that we will publish on our website. We are accepting cash donations as well as in-kind donations of goods or services. Since YASA is a tax-exempt organization, all donations are tax deductible and documentation will be provided. We can provide all exempt documentation upon request.

I’d like to thank you in advance for taking into consideration supporting our event and helping us reach our goals. Your participation will assist us in moving forward with our vision to expand into other communities as well as update our program.
