Acappellago is an all-volunteer a cappella chamber choir in its twenty second season of bringing the joys of a cappellag music families in the western suburbs of Chicago. Our repertoire includes many rarely heard pieces from the Masters but focuses on presenting new music by contemporary composers. Each of our twenty two seasons has featured a verified chicago premiere and we have presented over 20 world premieres.  We hold a Gala fundraising event every other year with this being our 11th. The Gala is a recital featuring members of the group as solists or small ensembles. In conjuntion with the recital we hold a Silent Aution, Raffles and live auction. Procedes from the event are used to offset operating cost not covered by ticket sales and to fund the commissioning of new works. Donors are recognized by signage at the event, in the event program as well as the following seasons concert programs and on our web-site including links to their own home page.
