YMCA Camp Surf is located right on the ocean in Imperial Beach, CA, just south of San Diego. Each year we host close to 10,000 youth, families, and students through our Summer and Day Camps, Community and Family, and Environmental/Outdoor Education programs. Many of the guests we serve come from communities in lower socioeconomic areas or historically disadvantaged populations. Close to 20% of our campers receive financial assistance from us to attend our programs, becoming more and more important as we rebuild our programs and scholarship funds coming out of the past couple years affected by COVID. 

The annual Beach Party is one of our main fundraising events, held in our picturesque oceanfront McKinney dining hall with live music, dinner, comaraderie, and Camp Surf history. Funds are raised through donations and our yearly live and silent auctions. All proceeds from the event go directly to fund scholarships and program/facility improvements which better the experience for all guests and campers. The event includes live and silent auctions as well as other fun, engaging activities to help support YMCA Camp Surf. In the past guests have been able to bid on items ranging from dinner gift cards and event/location tickets to overnight stays and vacation packages.
