The Young Marines are a youth education and service program for boys and girls, ages 8 through completion of high school. The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members. The program focuses on character building, leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The Young Marines is the focal point for the U.S. Marine Corps' youth Drug Demand Reduction efforts. Young Marine units are organized into local units located in nearly every state in the United States.  Each unit is an independent community-based programs lead by dedicated adult volunteers.

 The Tornado Alley Young Marines of Wichita, Ks will be celebrating the annual Young Marine Birthday Ball on October 22, 2022 to celebrate the birth of the Young Marines founded in 1958.

 The Tornado Alley Young Marines will host an estimated 80-100 youth (30-50 of the youth will be Young Marines) this evening as well as 15-20 adult volunteer chaperones. To ensure our kids have a spectacular evening, we are seeking contributions in the form of merchandise, gift certificates, coupons and/or financial aid. ( examples: money to help purchase supplies, food/drinks, items that can be used as door prizes or fill gift bags )
