My name is Mary Lopez and I’m  representing the youth (girls and boys ages 11-17) for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, New Braunfels 1st Ward. The youth from our church go to two different camps every summer-one for the girls and one for the boys. This provides them with an opportunity to unplug from the stresses and worries that they face in todays’ world, develop their leadership skills, develop stronger relationships with one another and to grow closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.  

We have 40 children that will go to camp this summer and each child will need $130. In order to off-set the cost, we are holding a dinner/auction night on March 25, 2023 at our church building located at 1390 Hanz Dr. here in New Braunfels. The youth will be in charge of advertising for the event, cooking and serving the meal, and auctioning items, as well as set-up and clean-up for the event. Past events have brought in around 200 people, and we expect that many people to attend this one as well. Your contribution will be vital to helping us succeed. With your generous donation, these young kids can have the opportunity to go to camp this summer and will give your company exposure as one of our amazing sponsors.
