It is with great excitement we invite you to participate in a very special event. The youth of King of Glory Lutheran Church will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser and Silent Auction on Saturday, September 14 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm to raise money for our Summer 2025 Mission Trip. The youth will be going to Austin, Texas to be serving with adult programs, homeless and veterans ministries, food banks, kids’ programs, and much more. The goal is to raise $8,000 to cover the cost of the mission trip, transportation, and housing for our youth and adult chaperones.

This will be the first mission trip that the youth have ever been on, and the hope is that not only will they grow in their faith, but will also build relationships, and make connections to foster a greater sense of community in our world. For some of the youth, this will be their first time away from their families for an extended length of time, so this opportunity will help them to grow into a more mature person.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Please consider contributing an item to the silent auction. The item can be donated by you, your employer, or both. I have enclosed a donation form for you to complete.

2. Please mark your calendar now and plan to attend the auction on Saturday, September 14. We have 3 different seating/eating times with reservations required. Please visit www.kog-arvada.org (after August 1st) to buy your tickets to the dinner. We encourage you to bring a friend or colleague and your checkbook.
