The Fox River Grove Memorial Library is currently running our Summer Reading Program for 2021. Each week of the program, our youth patrons complete at least 40 minutes of reading and a few activities before checking in with us for a small prize. Prizes have been things like a coupon for a free item at a local restaurant and a small "toy" relating to our program theme each week, like a pencil or keychain. This year's theme is Reading Colors Your World. We also have a grand prize drawing at the end of our program for a few bigger prizes, like museum passes or free attraction admissions. We are seeking a few donations to use in our program this summer. We do realize that this past year has been hard on many area businesses and that you may not be able to commit to donations at this time. We would love to be able to encourage our youth patrons to support you as a reward simply for reading. I look forward to talking with you soon!
