Youth Villages Golf Classic
Golf Tournament for Youth VillagesMay 13, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Youth Villages helps children and families live successfully. Youth Villages is a private nonprofit organization that serves children and young people who have experienced trauma through a continuum of services, including foster care, adoption, transitional living support (LifeSet program), residential treatment, intensive in-home services, group homes, specialized crisis services, and mentoring.
On May 13th, Youth Villages will host the 13th annual Youth Villages Golf Classic benefiting our LifeSet program, which provides critical support to youth who are aging out of foster care and transitioning into independent adulthood. After exiting state care, these youth often lack family support, financial means, and access to other community resources, leading to higher rates of homelessness, unemployment, and substance abuse than their non-foster peers. LifeSet works to prevent these outcomes by helping youth achieve their independent living goals through education, housing, and employment, and the annual Golf Classic raises funds to help sustain the program’s capacity and increase access to services for this at-risk community.
The 13th annual Youth Villages Golf Classic will be held on May 13, 2024 at The Governors Club at 9 am. The event engages 30 corporate- and community-sponsored teams playing in a scramble format tournament to benefit our LifeSet program. This is the largest fundraising event for LifeSet in Middle Tennessee.
We invite area companies, businesses, and establishments to support the event by generously donating an item to the event’s online auction. Your support will be recognized in the following ways: logo featured on the online auction, brand listed in the regional print and digital newsletter, brand mentioned on social media (Facebook and Twitter). The online auction will be emailed out to 5,400+ members of our Middle Tennessee community. Additionally, the online auction will be promoted during the event to an in-person audience of 150 golfers and volunteers from Greater Nashville.
