Description
ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer is a national nonprofit organization with the mission to end prostate cancer. We lead the fight to end the disease by advancing research, encouraging action, and providing education and support to men and their families. Our premier programs include the ZERO Prostate Cancer run/walk series, the largest men's health event series in America. this run series includes 32 races across the country. We are a 501c3 charity, a Better Business Bureau member and 98 cents of every dollar donated goes to programs and activities.
This application is specific to the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Napa Valley. This event is a heartfelt tight-knit community activity that brings together athletes, cancer survivors, physicians, caretakers, family members and friends in the fight to end prostate cancer.
The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – Napa Valley features a 5K run/walk, 200 yard Kids Superhero Dash for Dad and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. The route will consist of a single loop through Kennedy Park and the scenic Napa River Trail. The funds raised from ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Napa Valley are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer. Last year our Napa Valley Race had over 340 participants and we were able to donate directly $18000 to prostate cancer research, this year we hope to do even more. Won't you help us achieve our goal of ending prostate cancer? A disease that affects 1 in 6 men?
