Zion Lutheran School has a rich history, beginning as a one-room school on Swiss Avenue in 1879. Today, we are a fully accredited PreK–8th grade campus providing a Christ-centered education to children in Dallas. Our students consistently rank in the top 2% on national tests, and we are proud of the academic, emotional, and spiritual growth they experience under the guidance of our dedicated staff.

The 2024 Zion Auction and Gala was a tremendous success and allowed us to enhance our school with 7 new picnic tables, locker shelves, and cubbies, as well as support important projects that are in process such as a complete cafeteria update including soundproofing, a new school-wide text messaging system, and garden maintenance.

As we look to the future, we are excited to announce that the 2025 Zion Auction and Gala will be held at the Empire Room on February 28, 2025. Our goal for this event is to raise even more funds to continue enhancing our school campus and enriching the educational experience for our students. We are actively raising funds for several important projects, including:

Security upgrades, such as the installation of perimeter fencing around the school
Resurfacing the playground to replace wood chips with a safer, more durable surface
Continued funding of our cafeteria remodel, which is also used as a multipurpose room for church outreach
Revitalizing the old gym to create a multi-use space conducive to indoor recess, school events, and other activities. This will include new basketball goals and a modern sound system for plays, programs, and other events
The success of our 2024 Auction and Gala was truly inspiring, and for 2025, we aim to meet or exceed that goal. To do so, we need your help!
