Beginning as a one-room school on Swiss Avenue in 1879, Zion has grown into a fully accredited PreK – 8th-grade campus that educates children in Dallas from a Christ-centered and Lutheran perspective. Focusing on the unique qualities of every child, our students receive a rounded Christian education that equips them to score in the top 2% on national tests. We are blessed with a caring staff who lead with confidence and expertise, helping students grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

While our operational budget is met with tuition and the support of Zion Lutheran Church, projects such as the recently completed Recreation Outreach Center have been realized with support from Zion’s church and school families, as well as from our larger community through our annual Auction and Gala.

We were blown away by the success of the 2023 event, which raised $111,000. In 2024, we plan to meet or exceed that number, and to do so – we need your help! We are excited to offer parents, local businesses, and community members the opportunity to connect with our school family and capture the attention of new customers and clients.
