Each year, World Sight Day is celebrated globally to raise awareness and promote efforts to eliminate preventable blindness. By partnering with CBI for a World Sight Day silent auction fundraising event, organizations will be helping the visually impaired and blind in low-income countries and in Dane County, Wisconsin. Money raised at this event will go towards direct patient care (cataract surgeries, adult eye screening, child eye screenings, and glasses) and training Certified Ophthalmic Paramedical Personnel (COP students) (mid-level ophthalmic technicians).
